Questi primi test del 2024 sono stati un po' in salita perché abbiamo avuto qualche problema tecnico che oggi praticamente non ci ha permesso di girare.
Alla fine però era il primo test del 2024 e l'obiettivo era quello di sistemarci e risolvere tutto quello che abbiamo potuto risolvere in ottica Australia.
Ho una buona base a livello di setting e dobbiamo solo fare un fine tuning a livello di squadra. Sono abbastanza soddisfatto e penso che potremo essere della partita.
Ovviamente nei test ognuno prova cose diverse e quindi qualcuno è andato più forte ma questa cosa non mi abbatte e penso che potremo andare forte anche noi.

Devo dire che questo è uno dei test più complicati della mia carriera.
È un test che ha messo a dura prova il potenziale della squadra perché abbiamo lavorato giorno e notte.
Abbiamo portato tanto materiale nuovo da provare e ci siamo fatti un'idea delle cose che non hanno funzionato e di quelle che invece ci possono aiutare.
Nella seconda giornata abbiamo girato veramente poco e siamo stati fermi più di tre ore per fare il punto della situazione.
Nel primo giorno abbiamo girato un po' di più ma non c'era un gran feeling da parte del pilota.
In Australia spero che troveremo la soluzione per la potenza della moto e il feeling del pilota.
Dobbiamo imparare a trovare la giusta sintonia fra pilota e squadra. In base alla mia esperienza so che questa non è una cosa facile ma devo ringraziare la squadra, per l'impegno, e Rinaldi per la professionalità dimostrata.
Iniziare in salita non è facile ma lui si è dimostrato paziente e attento ai particolari che contano di più quando si vuole andare forte.

These first tests of 2024 were a bit uphill because we had some technical problems that practically didn't allow us to work today.
In the end, however, it was the first test of 2024 and the objective was to set things up and resolve everything we could resolve from an Australian perspective.
I have a good base in terms of settings and we just need to do some fine tuning at team level. I'm quite satisfied and I think we can be part of the game.
Obviously in the tests everyone tries different things and therefore some went faster but this thing doesn't discourage me and I think we can go fast too.

I have to say that this is one of the most complicated tests of my career.
It's a test that pushed the team's potential to the limit because we worked day and night.
We brought a lot of new material to try and then we got an idea of the things that didn't work and those that can help us.
On the second day we rode very little and stopped for more than three hours to take stock of the situation.
On the first day we lapped a little more but there wasn't a great feeling from the rider.
In Australia I hope we will find the solution in terms of power and feelings.
We must learn to find the right harmony between Michael and team. Based on my experience I know that this is not an easy thing but I have to thank the team for their commitment and Rinaldi for the professionalism he has shown.
Starting uphill isn't easy but he proved to be patient and attentive to the details that matter most when you want to go fast.
